Music Policy
In order for our skaters to practice their solos, dances and skills we require each skater/parent/family to play music. We ask each skater’s family volunteer their time to play music for the various sessions.
A music schedule will be developed by the Music Coordinator and will be based on the amount of skating hours each skater is on the ice per week. The more skating one does the more music time they will be allotted. Individuals will be required to sign the music log book to indicate they have completed their assigned music slot. The music schedules for each arena will be monitored each week by the Coordinator. Please note the Club will try its best to have your time slotted on the same dates as your skater is on the ice but do not guarantee as we must ensure all skaters have their music allotment fulfilled.
Posted dated cheque for $200.00/each per skater, payable to the Club, dated March 23, 2012 must accompany registration for each skater. Music cheque will be returned once commitment has been fulfilled.
If you opt out of playing music a cheque for $250.00 per skater is required at time of registration and will be cashed – please note paying out music does not include test days.
If you are unable to play music on the designated dates you are scheduled – it is your responsibility to find a replacement. This is inclusive to personal holidays, sick/injured time, competitions, etc.
Music commitment is considered defaulted, if any scheduled music sessions are missed. Skater’s $200.00 cheque will be cashed. Please note that each additional scheduled music session missed, results in an additional $25.00 penalty.
Club Disclaimer: All club fees must be paid prior to test days.
